Cookie Policy
This website uses a deliberately small number of cookies. Here is every one of them, what it does, and how to switch off anything that is not strictly necessary.
On this page
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way. Cookies let a site remember a preference between pages or visits; they cannot run programs, read files on your device, or carry viruses.
2. Our approach
We use two categories only: strictly necessary and optional analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media trackers or fingerprinting techniques, and we do not sell or share any information collected through cookies.
Optional cookies are switched off until you accept them. The banner you saw on your first visit records that choice. You can change it at any time using the cookie settings link, which also appears in the footer of every page.
3. Cookies used on this website
Strictly necessary
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| opsa_cookie_consent_v1 | opsa.mtechmpl.com | Stores your cookie choice so the banner is not shown again on every page | Local storage, until cleared |
| opsa_cookie_consent_v1_date | opsa.mtechmpl.com | Records when the choice was made, so we can re-ask after 12 months | Local storage, until cleared |
These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot remember that you declined the optional ones.
Optional analytics
If you select “Accept all”, we may set aggregated analytics cookies to count page views and understand which pages people find useful. No analytics cookie is set unless and until you accept. Analytics data is aggregated, is not used to identify individuals, and is not shared with advertisers.
Third-party content
Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps frame so you can find the office. When that frame loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy, over which we have no control. If you prefer to avoid it entirely, use the written address and directions on the same page instead of the map.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Look under Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Blocking all cookies is fine on this website: nothing here will break, although your consent choice will be forgotten and the banner will reappear.
Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal are respected — we treat such a signal as a refusal of optional cookies.
5. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated and the effective date at the top changes. Where a new category is introduced, the consent banner is shown again so you can make a fresh choice.
6. Questions
Email Michael@opsa.mtechmpl.com or call +1 925 807 3982 and we will explain anything on this page in plain terms. Our wider handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
If anything in this document is unclear, please contact us before relying on it. We will explain it in plain language and, where a change is warranted, we will make it and note the revision date above.
